Competition of Russian publications in sociology
Anna Nemirovskaya has won in two nominations!
The results of the competition of Russian publications in sociology were announced recently. LCSR senior research fellow Anna Nemirovskaya has won in two nominations.
“Social structure and social capital of Krasnoyarsk region population” monograph by Anna written in coauthorship with V. G. Nemirovsky took the second place in “monograph” nomination. The authors analyze the structure of the social capital of Krasnoyarsk region. They study social capital using Ronald Inglehart's and Shalom Schwarz's approaches to analysis of values. Social structure of region and social capital are taken into account using cluster analysis.
The collective monograph “Sociocultural processes in Eastern Siberia (based on the social research in Krasnoyarsk region and in Hakassia republic in 2009-2011)”, where Anna is a chief editor, is the second in the “research results” nomination. This monograph is dedicated to the socio-cultural analysis of East Siberia in the context of Russian situation. The researchers study the features of self-identification of the population, their main values and attitudes in the context of modernization.
