Alexey Zakharov was elected a member of the EPSA Executive committee

Our congratulations to Alexey!

Alexey Zakharov, a senior research fellow at the LCSR, was elected a member of the Council of the European Political Science Association – the leading professional organization for the political scientists of the Old World.

Alexey received Ph.D. in economics from the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, and now he is a professor at the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” (department of higher mathematics). He is also a senior research fellow of our Laboratory. He has publications in peer-review international; journals such as Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Public Choice, Social Choice and Welfare, and Journal of Theoretical Politics. Alexey’s research focuses on game theory and its applications in political science, political economy, and experimental research of nationalism and discrimination.
