HSE is ranked one of the leading Project 5-100 universities

HSE is ranked one of the leading Project 5-100 universities. LCSR is actively involved in realization of the `Project 5-100` and contribute to the raise of the Russia’s universities competitiveness across the globe.

HSE is among the top four universities according to the rating compiled by the Council on Enhancing the Competitiveness of Russia’s Leading Universities. LCSR is actively involved in the realization of the project and is at great pains to facilitate the raise of the Russia’s universities competitiveness across the globe. 

 

On Saturday the Council on Enhancing the Competitiveness of Russia’s Leading Universities, headed by Russian Education Minister Dmitry Livanov, concluded its work to raise the competitiveness of Russia’s universities among the world’s leading educational institutions. `Project 5-100` aims to see five Russian universities be ranked among the top 100 leading universities in the world by 2020. The project’s success is rated by the three most authoritative university rankings in the world: QS, Times Higher Education, and ARWU.

 

Members of the council reviewed reports by 15 Russian universities over steps taken to improve their competitiveness on the previous year, and their plans for the years 2015-2016.

The four leading institutions the council identified also included, ITMO University (St. Petersburg) and two Tomsk universities – Tomsk Polytechnic University and Tomsk State University.
