The 6th LCSR Summer School Started in Moscow
Today the participants of the 6th LCSR International Summer School got started to learning.
Today the 6th International LCSR Summer School started in Moscow. Our school aims to provide the knowledge and skills to conduct latent curve modeling.
We started with a preparatory course on structural equation modeling which provides the essential skills to complete the second part of the course–latent curve modeling. The instructor of the preparatory course is Dr. Boris Sokolov (Research Fellow, LCSR). In his first lecture, Boris presented the basics of confirmatory factor analysis. He also discussed the differences between confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis. The audience learned how to estimate simple confirmatory factor analysis models using the “lavaan” package in R and MPLUS.
