WVSA Expert Meeting

The joint IDEA, UN and WVSA Expert Meeting “Monitoring the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals, targets and indicators: The role of social surveys” was held in New York. Tatiana Karabchuk participated in the meeting as Principal Invistigator from HSE and LCSR.

The World Values Survey Association, in conjunction with International IDEA and UNDP has held an Expert Meeting devoted to consideration of the contribution of social surveys to indicators monitoring the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.

The participants were Pippa Norris, Christian Haerpfer, Yilmaz Esmer, Marita Carballo, Jaime Díez Medrano, Darwish Al Emadi, Marta Lagos,  Neil Nevitte, Juan Díez Nicolás, Alejandro Moreno, Bi Puranen, Christian Welzel, the current president of the WVS, and Ronald Inglehart, the founder and the president of the World Value Survey organization during 1988-2013Tatiana Karabchuk, Deputy Director of LCSR, participated in the meeting as Principal Invistigator from Higher School of Economics and the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research. 

The meeting took place on April, 27, 2015 in the United Nations in New York, USA.
