The Most Interesting Economic Research Papers of 2013: Open Economy Ratings

LCSR researchers at the top!

HSE's   expert   portal Open Economy published the ratings of the most interesting economic research projects of 2013. Several works by the staff of the Laboratory for Comparative Social Research were nominated in two categories.

In «TOP-13. HSE’s Most Interesting Economic Research of 2013» the work of Leon Kosals and Christopher S. Swader «Post-Socialist Anomie Through The Lens of Economic Modernization and the Formalization of Social Control» was ranked the fourth. The research project of Maksim Rudnev  and Vladimir Magun «Basic Human Values of the Russians» received the eighth position. Lastly, the eleventh place in the list is the collective study of Russian elites, performed by LCSR staff under the supervision of William Zimmerman and Ronald Inglehart.
«Trial by Fire: A Natural Disaster’s Impact on Support for the Authorities in Rural Russia», which includes such authors as Yegor Lazarev (Associate Researcher at the LCSR) and Boris Sokolov (Junior Research Fellow at the LCSR) got the first place in «TOP-13. The Most Interesting Economic Research about Russia».
