The 14th LCSR International Workshop: Day 1

On April 14, the 14th LCSR International Workshop started offline in Moscow and online.

The seminar started with an honorary lecture by Mikhail Minkov (University of Management, Varna, Bulgaria; LCSR, National Research University Higher School of Economics) titled  "Economy-Culture Coevolution Across the World". He presented a report on the relationship between economic growth and cultural indicators – socio-cultural changes, gender inequality, political control and the level of corruption/transparency in society.

Tatyana Karabchuk (University of the UAE), Maha Bashri (University of the UAE), and Branislav Radeljic (School of Law and International Relations, Nebrija University, Madrid, Spain; Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, Serbia) also delivered an honorary report entitled "Social Media Usage and Attitudes Towards Migrants: Crossnational Analysis."
