The Laboratory announces the next regular seminar (project workshop), which will be held in Moscow on May, 31 at 18:00* in S.-Petersburg. Videoconference between offices in  St.Petersburg (10^th Line, 3, room 117a), in Moscow (Kochnovskiy Pr. 3, room 306) and in Perm (Studencheskaya 38-1, room 306) will be provided. After the seminar a videotape will be put up after the summary of the presentation. 

Evgeny  Varshaver and Yegor Lazarev, LCSR's Research Fellows, will deliver a report "The results of the expedition to the Transcaucasia".

The seminar is dedicated to the results of the trip to the Transcaucasia, which aim has included three research themes:

1. Cartography of the field of empirical studies of the CIS countries;
2. the image experience and networks of migration to Russia;
3. refugees: nationalism, support of the authorities, migration strategies.

The methodology and preliminary findings, as well as hypotheses and understanding which have emerged during the fieldwork, will be presented at the seminar.

Everyone interested is invited!
