The lecture by Ronald Inglehart was the fourth in a series of open lectures "World class", organized by the Foundation of Yegor Gaidar. During the lecture professor answered a series of questions: What can we learn from the World Value Survey and European Values Survey? How the values and beliefs of people change under the influence of technological and social reforms? How values, in turn, influence the success of political and economic transformation? Why the "philosophy" of people in developed countries becomes postmaterialism and how it affects their economic and social life?
The lecture was held in English with simultaneous translation
