Call for Papers: "Recent Advances in Cross-Cultural Research"

The cofenrence is hosted by our colleagues from the Faculty of Business (Istanbul Bilgi University, Türkiye).

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the international conference Recent Advances in Cross-Cultural Research. We invite submissions of extended abstracts presenting cross-national or cross-cultural research on topics such as values, gender attitudes, social capital, subjective well-being, and closely related areas. Studies that include comparisons between Türkiye and other countries are particularly encouraged.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or online. Interested contributors are required to submit an extended abstract of 300–400 words. Abstracts should clearly address the following points: a) research question, b) study’s originality or contribution, c) research design, d) analytical techniques, and e) key findings.

Invited speakers: 

  • Michael Minkov, Professor of Cross-Cultural Studies, Varna University of Management.
  • Kuba Krys, Associate Professor of Psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences.

The submission deadline is March 6, 2026.
