Laboratory for Comparative Social Research (LCSR) of the National Research University Higher School of Economics is pleased to announce the 7th Summer School on “Bayesian Approach in Social Science”. Course instructor is Hannes Kröger (Socio-Economic Panel Study (SOEP), German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Berlin, Germany; European University Institute, Florence, Italy).

Registration fee is 50 euro per person. The organizing committee provides a limited number of scholarships which cover all the expenses (including course fees, travel expenses, accommodation, lunches and coffee breaks during the summer school). The recipients of the funding will be selected on a competitive basis. The rest of the applicants will be responsible for covering the expenses on their own.

To apply for the Summer School, please submit the following documents: (1) Curriculum Vitae; (2) a motivation letter (about 400 words); (3) an abstract of the research project (about 1000 words); and (4) a description of the data one is going to use during the practical course (about 200 words).

The requirements for the application format: Times New Roman font with a font-size of 12, single spacing, the indent of 1.25 cm, the top-bottom-left-right margins are 2-2-3-1.5 cm respectively.
