CALL for the LCSR Network

Deadline for applications is January, 15, 2015.

The LCSR announces the next call for LCSR associate researchers. The main idea is to attract young scholars to work on their own projects under the guidance of the LCSR experts (Ronald Inglehart, Eduard Ponarin, Christian Welzel). 

LCSR is looking for collaboration with everybody who is interested in the comparative quantitative research in the framework of the main Lab’s research fields:

  • Subjective Well-being and Social Capital;
  • Norms, Values and Value Changes
  • Trust and Social Capital
  • Tolerance: Nationalism, Migration, Religion
  • Informal relations and Corruption
  • Precarious Work and Subjective Well-being

In order to apply for the research membership you need to submit:

  • Curriculum Vitae (not exceeding 2 pages),
  • Project description: main goal, brief literature review, main hypothesis and data description (not exceeding 5 pages),
  • Project abstract (250 words).

Please, comply with the following requirements while writing an application: MS Word, 12 font, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing, standard margins. The template for proposal is published on LCSR’s web-site: http://lcsr.hse.ru/en/call

Applications are accepted electronically via e-mail (hse.lcss@gmail.com) till January 15, 2015. Results of the competition will be announced before February 10, 2015. The successful candidates will be invited to present their research proposal on the Fifth LCSR International WorkshopSocial and Cultural Changes in Cross-National Perspective: Subjective Well-being, Trust, Social capital and Values (April 6-10, 2015, Moscow). LCSR provides accommodation at HSE Guest House for 5 nights for selected speakers.
